This book is an introduction to Bruno Latour. He is a leading figure in Social Sciences today. In the past decade his Action-Network Theory (ANT) has gained much popularity in the field of architecture.

This book discusses his philosophy and how it applies to specific methods of new thinking in architecture and design pedagogy. It demonstrates these methods in practical examples of architectural practice and urban design. This book argues for the ANT-inspired approach to architecture and how the methodological insights can outline new research avenues in the field.

The book draws on the world of architectural practice and how it can re-order the world to handle human and nonhuman collective life. It re-examines the role of matter in design and redefines the forms of social, political, and ethical associations that bind us together in cities.

This interview discusses the role of landscape architecture too.
